Research Interests
Symptom forecasting, threshold computation, analysis of aerobiological samples, maintaining of a European wide pollen data base (EAN), implementation of a pollen symptom diary (PHD) in Europe (already 13 European countries included), processing and dissemination of information to pollen allergy sufferers to support them avoiding their allergen (homepage, teletext, newsletter, mobile app, interviews for the media), handling symptom and pollen data and research in the field of aerobiology and allergy.
Our main interest is the support of the Austrian and European pollen allergy sufferer. The Austrian Pollen Information Services provide information for free and supply important tools (symptom diary; www.pollendiary.com; mobile app for smart phones). Main goal is the development and establishing of an EU-wide personalized symptoms-forecast .
