There are several thematic PhD programs at the Medical University of Vienna that cover topics in the field of Neuroscience. The main difference between the various PhD programs is whether they represent an "open"
PhD program in which PhD students are recruited via application to an individual research laboratory or whether
PhD students apply for a "Self Contained" PhD program at special calls. A detailed description of the individual
